ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! This place is not nice or safe! It's conveniently located but that's about it. There are more sketchy people with sketchy activities going on in this park than I've ever seen.. we moved from this park because we didn't feel safe for our dog and our children. People coming and going at all hours of the night, nasty gross campers and people allowed to live here full time basically rent free. Wolf dogs roaming the campground and attacking other dogs. People driving so fast it's not safe for kids to play outside.
Harold and Linda owners of the Fort Smith Alma RV Park run a fantastic RV sight. The property is clean the bathrooms and showers are spotless and provide a great shower at the end of a long travel day. The laundry on site is new and modern. Their family is very friendly and will help with any of your needs. There is a great pond to walk around and to view. Harold is a veteran and loves the military offers military discounts for camping at their park. The cleaner of the bathroom and showers did a great job. This is the only campground out of four that we stayed at on our trip from New York to Oklahoma that we would recommend. Stop in and stay awhile.
Not a bad place to stay. Dated but, clean, well maintained. Sights are too close to each other and in some you have to share the picnic table area with your neighbor. Owners are grumpy and a bit unfriendly but in an endearing way.
Stayed here in our Motor Home for one night then moved to Core of Engineers campground in Barly. Fort Smith-Alma was pretty awful due to the fact that they put us in the very back next to their dump ground. The dump ground was an old rv with trash inside and out. Also we were next to rental mobile homes. Pretty bad. Left and will not be back. Front end was not that bad, so not sure why we were put in the worst part of the park.
Clean and well maintained. Good spots quiet and peaceful. Americana not urban chic, so don't expect "glitz." Would stay again.
